1 Make Friends with Pocoyo
6/27/10
Season-only
The importance of attention and affection is learned when Pocoyó neglects Loula when he finds a toy dog to play with. Then, Pato and Pocoyó learn what it means to BOO! and be BOOED! Pocoyó has a new game which he enjoys playing on his friends: BOO! Only some of his friends find Pocoyó’s game annoying or frightening. But this only encourages Pocoyó more. He boos poor Pato til he ends up a nervous wreck. Elly sees how scared Pato has become and decides to give Pocoyó a taste of his own medicine. Elly makes Pocoyó jump. At first Pocoyó doesn’t like it but ultimately Pato and Pocoyó both realises it can be fun to BOO! and to be BOOED! Then, loving your friends for who they are, and not what they look like is taught when during a windy day when Pato’s hat gets blown away. Pato doesn’t like the way he looks without his hat and he’s afraid his friends will laugh at him so he hides and won’t play. Finally they catch up with him and he tries on a selection of replacement hats, none of which quite fit the bill. When Elly and Pocoyó realise what’s wrong they don’t understand Pato’s reaction. They like the way he looks. Pato comes to see that his friends love him for who he is, not what he looks like and the friends all play happily together. In the end, Sleepy Bird has to pop out for a while and needs someone to look after little Baby Bird. Pato volunteers because he thinks that’s going to be a much easier job than tidying up the mess he’s made with Pocoyó. Baby Bird, and his chum Caterpillar, run rings round Pato who eventually appeals to Pocoyó for help. Pocoyó thinks he can take care of the situation easily himself, but he similarly is foxed by the little tykes. Finally Pocoyó and Pato work out that in order to get the little ones to do what they want, they are going to need to collaborate. By the time Sleepy Bird returns, Baby Bird and Caterpillar are fast asleep. Little does Sleepy Bird know the chaos that got them to that point!
2 Dance with Pocoyo
7/2/10
Season-only
Elly learns to not be bossy when she wants to be a prima ballerina with a troupe of other dancers and tries to teach her friends to dance just like her. But she gets frustrated that they can’t do it straight away and is very bossy. Finally everyone dances together in their own special way. Then it is shown that it can be fun to dance with your friends when Pocoyó meets a funny little red shape. At first it teases and hides from him, making him jump and chasing him around. But then it brings along it’s friends and together they put on a music and dancing show for Pocoyó and his gang. More dancing with friends is done later when Pocoyó and his friends have a dance battle when him and Pato stumble upon a disco and Elly is the DJ. Pato gets grooving to a track and Elly thinks he’s fantastic. But Pocoyó’s not impressed. He has a go and shows his dance. It’s wonderful, but then Pato thinks he can do even better. And so it goes on – an impromptu, ever-so-funky dance off! Things get out of hand when Pocoyó is raving and Pato is body-popping so Elly changes the record. She takes to the dance-floor and shows the rivals – in an uncannily Britney-esque way – that instead of competing, they can all have fun dancing together! It’s much more fun. After that, Pocoyó and Pato take a break from dancing to help out Elly ice-skate when she's having a hard time. Elly is a great dancer and wants to have a go, but every time she tries she falls over flat on her bum. Even Whale and Octopus put on a great duet ice-skating routine. Poor Elly is about to give up. But we encourage her to have another go, and Pocoyó and Pato help her to get started. Gradually she gets the hang of it and her confidence increases till she performs an amazing routine and achieves the highest score of the day.

Octopus makes Pocoyó practice lots of different activities but Pocoyó can’t see the point because they aren’t related to juggling… or so he thinks. In the end Pocoyó becomes the star of the show! Then Pato plays a trick on everyone! He says he is leaving: he’s packed his bags, he’s said goodbye to his room and all his things. Pocoyó is enjoying blowing bubbles with his bubble maker. Elly wants to play too. They can’t agree on who gets to play with it. Finally they realise that the best way to play is to share. Later, Pocoyó and Pato fall out, really fall out. They are so angry with each other that they build a wall between themselves. After that, Pocoyó wants to play, but Baby Bird is flying up in the sky, Pato and Octopus are helicoptering, Elly is jumping up into outer space and even little Caterpillar transforms into a butterfly and flutters away. In the end, Pocoyó’s friends realise the little blue boy feels left out so they get together to help him fly up in the sky along with them. In the end everyone has fun playing together. Later, the importance of sharing and getting along are explored when Pato and Elly are arguing over their blocks when Caterpillar and Baby Bird walk past with presents for Pato. Oh no! Pocoyó and Elly have forgotten Pato’s birthday. Elly is quick to whisk Pato off to a birthday picnic, determined to prove how much she cares. Not to be outdone, quick-thinking Pocoyó appears at the picnic with a present but Elly retaliates and ‘accidentally’ breaks it. Pocoyó and Elly fight so hard over Pato that he’s almost broken in two. Fed up with all the fight Pato packs his things and is about to leave. When Pocoyó and Elly realise that their fighting has driven Pato away, they quickly make up and turn their efforts into making a special birthday party for Pato.
5 Sports with Pocoyo
6/30/10
Season-only
Pocoyó, Elly and Pato stage their own version of the olympics – with a funny and very original variety of contests. Later, the importance of telling the truth is learned when Pocoyó and Pato find Elly’s scooter and decide to take it back to her. Pato enjoys showing off his scooter skills and quickly forgets who it belongs to. Pato’s scooter tricks get bigger and bigger until eventually he breaks the scooter into pieces. Pocoyó and Pato try to fix the scooter but it’s no good. However will they tell Elly? At first they try to cover up what they’ve done but eventually they have to confess. Thankfully Elly is not upset with them as she has another scooter and is just pleased her friends told the truth in the end. After that, Pocoyó and his friends learn the nastiness of jealously when they play hide-and-seek. Pocoyó is the seeker and is brilliant at it – but only thanks to Loula. When Loula gets all the praise for being a super-seeker, Pocoyó is jealous. He throws a ball very far away to make Loula run off and chase it. His friends think it was a nasty thing to do and so Pocoyó feels bad and decides he must now find Loula. They follow her footprints but she’s gone really far and they just can’t find her anywhere. Finally at an island in the sea they despair: they think she’s gone forever. But we can already see that Loula is safe and sound. Everyone is reunited and Pocoyó can celebrate being a super-seeker too, after all. In the end, everyone learns that cheating isn't a good way to win when Pato, Pocoyó and Elly are having fun doing running and jumping competitions: except Pato is taking it very seriously. So when he loses he’s mighty miffed. He is a very bad loser. He goes off in a huff and finds some rather swanky trainers. He tries them on and discovers that these are no ordinary trainers: they have a life of their own, they have super powers. Once he’s mastered them he challenges Pocoyó and Elly to a re-match. Of course now he wins the running and jumping contests hands down. But Elly twigs that something’s up and doesn’t want to compete anymore. When Pato tries to take the shoes off he realises they won’t undo. He’s stuck and the shoes are going crazy. Luckily Caterpillar and Baby Bird save the day by getting the shoes off. They have fun for a while, each playing with their own present in a bid to prove that it’s the best of the bunch. But ultimately the friends get a little bored with their respective gifts. After all, there’s only so much you can do with one thing. In a huff, the friends throw their new toys on the floor. And this is when they see the potential of the presents: they can combine them. They think Pocoyó is brilliant at being a funny magician. But that’s not what Pocoyó wants to be – he wants to be taken very seriously - so he goes off in a huff. In the meantime, Pato, Elly and Baby Bird go around Pocoyó-land to tell everyone about the magnificent hilarious magician whose show they enjoy so much. As Pocoyó sulks, his friends gather around him, excited to see his tricks. Pocoyó is overwhelmed that his friends liked his show so much. He does some more tricks and his friends are thrilled. Later, Pocoyó, Elly and Baby Bird are bored of Pato’s countless flower photos so they encourage him to take pictures of them instead. But each time Pato takes a photo, someone moves. Pato is exasperated because he wants to take perfect portraits but there’s always something not quite right. Pato gives up. His friends put on an exhibition of his photos to show him that his pictures may not be exactly what he had in mind, but they really are wonderful because they capture the fun the friends have together. At the end, Pocoyó wants to show his friends a film of all his favourite memories. His friends are bored and a bit miffed when they realise they don’t feature in the movie at all. So Pocoyó shows them some more favourite bits, this time featuring Elly, Pato and the others, all in embarrassing, funny, silly fixes. Pocoyó thinks it’s hilarious but of course his friends are hurt. So Elly shows her favourite bits: all of her bits show her being beautiful, graceful and strong. Pato doesn’t like her bits so he shows his. Again, the others get bored and unhappy. Later, Pocoyó and Pato are out for an adventure in the Vamoosh but have to land on a strange planet when a part of the Vamoosh falls off. Whilst searching for the missing part, Pato gets scared because he hears a strange, scary noise. He sees that it’s an alien which is making the noise, but Pocoyó doesn’t believe him. Pocoyó soon sees for himself that Pato was telling the truth. When the alien returns the piece of the Vamoosh that they were looking for they both realise there is nothing to be scared of and the alien just wants to make friends. After that, Pocoyó and Elly have organised a picnic and they leave Pato in charge of guarding the sandwiches whilst they get everything ready. Incredibly the sandwiches suddenly start moving around. Pato can’t believe his eyes. When Pocoyó and Elly return they are angry with Pato. They think he took the sandwiches himself. They give one more chance, leaving him in charge of guarding the cake. Once again, amazingly, the cake runs away apparently on its own. Pato is once again berated by Pocoyó and Elly. Until they see what’s going on with their own eyes. Pocoyó investigates further. And discovers who it is that’s moving the food around: ANTS! Having worked out what’s going on, the friends invite the ants along to the picnic and they all have fun together. At the end, Pato finds an egg and immediately falls in love with it: he wants to take care of the little baby inside the egg. When the egg hatches he gets the shock of his life: it’s not a cute little duckling at all, but a very odd looking spider. His friends are terrified of the little creature and won’t play with Pato if he brings it along. Pato rather craftily and meanly makes the little spider go away and do things on its own, so Pato can play with Pocoyó and Elly. Finally the little spider makes their hearts melt when he shows them that there’s nothing to be scared of and he just wants to be their friend.
