I've seen some episodes on regular cable and while its more then well filmed and paced and artistically themed both as a show and concept its a little stale to me. This is a Parody that's come 20+ years too late, while this is supposed to be a parody of overly melodramatic soap opera like miniseries of the early to mid 1980s to early 90s the majority of this genre has fallen out popularity since then and fallen into a great deal of obscurity. If this series was produced during the height of this genres popularity it would have been touted as one of the best comedic films/made for TV films of the 80s. But unfortunately most of this shows viewership is far too young to even remember most of these Danielle Steel/Jackie Collins style "chick flick" films now and even their own parents (who would get these jokes) probably don't care much for this either.

It is so absurd it's painful to watch, but that is what makes it so great.
