I share the sentiment of a previous reviewer-many very funny moments mixed win with modestly amusing bits, but the actors are really well cast. Can't wait to see them get a little further along and relax into the season a little. Pilot episodes have a lot of lifting to do in the narrative, and this one did pretty well. The single camera format works well for the show, and helps lend warmth to the interactions with the characters and many of William's "he said under his breath" moments.

I'm not even kidding. The entire thing... is a Big freaking Mac commercial. I did laugh. Twice. Once when I realized what I was watching was a commercial for several different products within a commercial-free medium. The second time, when I realized people are actually going to continue to buy it. And buy God, you should! You deserve a break today, right? #30minutefedexarrow

The pilot produced mixed feelings. Some moments were laugh out loud funny, but some scenes just fell flat. Additionally, I think the problem is that there may be too much improv thus hampering the story-line. However, one positive aspect of the show is that the casting is perfect! Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar are great together and their chemistry makes their father-daughter relationship seem believable.
