But it’s not all serious… especially when Scott and the girls visit Gilbert’s farm and inoculate his large herd of expressive goats. We also meet Ella’s uncle Randal, who has his very own pack of hunting dogs that help control the wild boar population on the island.
6 Trouble in Paradise

Scott tackles the ordinary to the extraordinary. Small issues, such as a chicken with an infected eye and a goat with mastitis, are easy enough for Doctor Sims. Larger issues are the ones that can be problematic. Scott’s friend Robin has a horse with colic that’s facing death, so Scott hoists him onto the operating table and gets to work. Luckily, he’s able to handle this potentially life-threatening operation.
7 Big Island, Big Problems

Dr. Scott lets down his hair and takes a wild ride to catch some feral cats, help save a neglected horse, and put on his inventor hat to give a two-legged dog a new way to get around.
8 My Chicken Ate What?

Dr. Scott Sims, veterinarian on Kauai, Hawaii, is always on the move and never takes a break. While he keeps busy with emergency surgeries and house calls, his assistants Ella and Dia plan a surprise luau to celebrate the recent birthday he missed. Unfortunately, Scott is not a big fan of parties, and they must devise a secret plan to get Scott to the party.

About this show

On the island of Kauai there is only one large animal vet who is also trained to work on endangered species and he is Dr. Scott Sims. Teamed up with his assistants Dia and Ella, Dr. Scott traverses the islands of Hawaii in his plane as he is called to save animals both great and small.

That's the best word to describe Vet. Scott Simms...aloha vet! He gives to the animals exactly what they give to the human race...unconditional(y)!!

A Great man, and accomplished vet, he will be missed. Why did such a wonderful man have to leave us so soon?
