Season 5 episodes (13)

1 Into the Canyons
1/21/15
Joe and Matt face down the high desert canyons of Matt's home of 20 years: southern Utah. Without knives or any modern supplies, they attempt to survive and seek rescue in this harsh terrain that's more favorable to rattlesnakes and mountain lions.
2 Grin and Bear It
1/28/15
Joe and Matt trek through the Alleghany Mountains of Pennsylvania, where Joe grew-up and first learned survival skills. Traveling in freezing rain, blocked by steep ravines, and deep in bear country, they're racing against Mother Nature to get out alive.
3 Downed and Out Part One
2/4/15
Matt and Joe start at the site of a plane crash off the shore of an uninhabited tropical island. With few resources and no sea traffic to bring rescue, they are forced to confront long-term survival and each other on the barren island.
4 Downed and Out Part Two
2/11/15
Marooned on a barren island under the tropical sun, Matt and Joe risk a long swim through shark-infested waters and fight for life-sustaining basics at every turn.
5 Swamplandia
2/18/15
Stranded in a black water swamp in southern Georgia, Joe and Matt are deep in alligator territory where peat bogs, mysterious floating islands, and poisonous snakes stand in the way of getting out and finding rescue.
6 Out of the Ashes Part One
2/25/15
On the slopes of a tropical volcano, Matt and Joe face roadblocks in their quest to navigate towards the coast including thick rainforest, steep-walled gorges and towering waterfalls that stop them dead in their tracks.
7 Out of the Ashes Part Two
3/4/15
Trapped on high ocean cliffs, Joe and Matt struggle to cross a volcanic island covered with jungle and water-filled canyons. Every setback fuels a rift between the guys and only a successful hunt can help them get out alive.
8 Waterlogged
3/11/15
Off the beaten path and waterlogged in the rainforest of Costa Rica, Matt and Joe battle torrential rains, deadly insects, and raging rapids. After missing a shot at rescue, they combine survival ingenuity with indigenous skills to get out alive.
9 Coastal Catastrophe
3/18/15
Marooned on a rocky coast in the Pacific Northwest, Matt and Joe struggle to get away from powerful waves and come head to head over the question of whether to hunker down or travel deeper into one of the darkest, wettest forest in the United States.
10 Winter Vortex Part One
4/1/15
In the snowiest part of Wyoming, Matt and Joe demonstrate how to repurpose a broken down snowmobile, make shelter from snow, and survive sub-freezing temperatures in whiteout conditions that cause them to miss a chance at rescue.
11 Winter Vortex Part Two
4/8/15
Marooned on a barren island under the tropical sun, Matt and Joe risk a long swim through shark-infested waters and fight for life-sustaining basics at every turn.
12 Himalayan Hardship
4/15/15
In the Himalayas, Joe seeks rescue from the rocky terrain, dense forest, and animal threats while Matt seems more interested in achieving spiritual enlightenment than getting out alive.
13 Namibian Nightmare
4/22/15
Stranded in the vast scrubland of Namibia, Joe and Matt are in a race to get out alive from one of the driest countries on earth. They run into trouble with a troop of baboons, proving that Mother Nature isn't the only force in the wilderness.

Dual Survival could have been hands down one of the longest running truly entertaining outdoors reality based programs on cable television. If only Discovery Channel had left the two original co-hosts, Dave Canterbury and Cody Lundin to remain on the show. But, tisk, tisk, Discovery Channel destroyed the show and disassembled it piece by piece firing what was an absolute irreplaceable duo. Instead, attempting to move forward by shoving down our throats a cocky, nasty, mean and quite frankly crazy man to continue on trying to fill the shoes of two men who were more entertaining and enlightening in their pinky toes than Joe Teti had to offer in his whole stint on the show. And the two newest co-hosts have failed to impress thusfar. If anyone is looking for a new program to watch, I strongly recommend Dual Survival. But only until Dave was fired. And if you want to watch Discovery Channel make their biggest mistake, then continue to watch the episodes with Cody Lundin and ick...Joe Teti. But once they fired Cody that was the last straw. Discovery imploded it's best program. Bring back Dave and Cody and you bring back quality entertainment. Until that happens I only recommend purchasing Seasons 1-3 and 4 if you can swallow that many episodes with Joe Teti.

Matt and Dave are great together. Cody loved em I just wish he would consider wearing shoes so people could be focused more on the survival techniques instead of his feet because the whole time he's walking barefooted it seems like people are worried that he's going to get his foot cut and that he would be a burden to his partner who is trying to get out of there alive . Other than that I think any episode of Dual Survival is awesome need more seasons of it. I'd like to see more Matt team up with anybody

Dave Canterbury Joe Teti and Matt Graham made this show a great success but Matt & Joe are the BEST Duel Survival Team they've put together. Don't get me wrong Dave and Cody they were a really good team they started the show off great and it continued into Matt & Joe but I can't even stomach season 7 those two guys are horrible as a team, I can't even blame Grady Powell because he was great in Ultimate Survival Alaska but Bill is trash, still the first 6 seasons 5 Stars.
