I am absolutely astounded that this show has gotten anything over 2 stars from ANYONE... this show is so bad it becomes comical at times. If you watch this show to see machines ripping each other apart then you will be very disapointed. This show is obviously staged, which for the record I have no problem with, however when the robots cant stand on their own, fists cant reach anything but torso, and combat that is limited to nothing but slow motion punching followed up with sparks (which are DEFINITELY TRIGGERED). I'll be honest I did want this show to be good and I realized that it was not going to be perfect, however I will continue to watch UFC because the winner is respectable as an athlete, these robots would lose to my car. P.S. I do not have a nice car...

It's a cute concept poorly executed. For example, on BattleBots the participants designed their 'bots and brought them to the competition; on this, the producers provide the designs and implementations and they're assigned to the participants (the fighters don't get to choose anything). The 'bots come at each other from opposite ends of the arena (tethered by square bars), and that's basically it...very limiting. The CGI in the promos is more exciting than the actual competition.

Then I watched the first 1 and it's truly unique, even astounding almost when you see 2 2+Ton Robot's 4REAL in the ring duking it out... Carnage appears after the Literally explosive Hits.. & I love how the 1st winners 12th vs 1st seed came back from an almost sure defeat to.... * U'll have to watch the pilot...
