Couples Therapy

Four new celebrity couples check into therapy with Dr. Jenn Berman for an intense experience that will change their relationships, and their lives, forever. One couple has been the source of public scrutiny this past year, and they immediately get judged by the other couples in the house. And another couple's relationship of fidelity and trust is tested.

The couples join Dr. Jenn in an intense group therapy session where they all reveal some of the most hurtful moments in their relationship. Juan Pablo and Nikki discuss the media firestorm they faced after their time on "The Bachelor," Deena talks about how she has lived with an anxiety disorder her whole life, Evel and Stephanie tell the story of why they broke up, and Treach and Cicely share how issues of trust are ruining their relationship.

Group therapy brings up many topics revolving around trust in a time when social media is so prevalent in society. Each couple has issues with trust, especially Juan Pablo and Nikki, and Treach and Cicely, who all get into disagreements about how to approach their relationships with fans, and with each other. After group, Treach and Cicely get into a heated argument about her not believing if Treach has been faithful to Cicely.

Dr. Jenn is upset with both Nikki and Jenna for not fully committing to the process, so she brings everybody into a group session to scold the pair. Nikki takes what Dr. Jenn says to heart, but it does the opposite for Jenna, who is furious with Dr. Jenn. Jenna then confronts Dr. Jenn about what she had said to her, and even though Dr. Jenn apologizes, Jenna is still shaken and trigged. The group realizes that Dr. Jenn was right: Nikki can be cagey, secretive, overly opinionated and outspoken.

Dr. Jenn shakes things up with the group by bringing in a trust expert to the house. Cicely takes advantage of the situation by calling Treach out about her thinking he has cheated on her in the past, Stephanie reveals if there is any chance she will get back together with Evel, and Juan Pablo reveals whether or not he loves Nikki. All of this sends the couples spinning in their relationships, each feeling burned and upset by their partner.

Evel admits to the cast that he has a life threatening disease, and the cast has a very surprising response. Treach and Cicely are still fuming mad with each other, and haven't spoken since she called him out at the trust exercise. Nikki is still reeling over Juan Pablo not telling her he loves her, and the rest of the group is getting sick of hearing the same thing over and over again from her.

Dr. Jenn opens this weeks group session with a heartbreaking topic: childhood trauma. Later, Dr. Jenn plans an activity allowing the couples to release their aggression. Nikki and Juan Pablo get into a huge argument that ends up involving everyone in the house.

Nikki and Juan Pablo are at a crossroads in their relationship. Not only has their fighting caused a major riff in their relationship, but it has caused other people in the house to get fed up with Nikki, especially Cicely.

Dr. Jenn opens group therapy with the topic of ‘what you need from your partner' and Dick reveals that he is sad and disappointed that he and Stephanie have parted ways, but he needs to have her in his life leaving therapy.

After 3 long weeks in therapy, the couples are gearing up to leave the retreat, but Dr. Jenn still has her hands full. Dr. Jenn has planned a very special final dinner for the group on a boat in the marina, and everybody is excited, except Treach and Cicely, who are on the brink of breaking up.
