The biggest things holding it back was the concept required an audience with an education, and even the network execs who bought the show were not that smart. The writers kept wondering if their end of season equated end of series, and even tried at one point to dumb it down. But the premis of the show would never permit that to work. In the end you have 5 seasons where 4 of them are fantastic and allow you to live vicariously through Chuck, and the other isn't bad at all.

This show is relatable. It's funny. It's sad. The actors make their characters people look up to. I love this show. Zach and Yvonne did a fantastic job acting, not to mention Joshua and Baldwin. This was my childhood and it's now my young-adult hood. I've watched every season four or five times and I just wish Netflix would put it back up :(

Dude, the nerd humor, the comedy in general, the bro-vibe at the local store, these are all things that make this series great. In the tradition of the short-lived Reaper and Parker Lewis Can't Lose this show made it! It flew high with a heaping helping of spy-chic and unwilling-hero this is a fantastic, mostly family friendly romp of high adventure, clandestine government hijinks and a great story arc that really delivers you simply MUST get it. Do yourself a favor and buy the entire series instead of half-a$$ing it. It'll be cheaper and you'll thank yourself later.
