1 Kryten
9/6/88
Rimmer has donned his best uniform and Lister has put on his smelly orange moon boots, even Holly is wearing a toupee. After all, what self-respecting smeghead could possibly resist a cry for help from three damsels and an android in distress?
2 Better than Life
9/13/88
It's cool! It's wild! It's Better Than Life, the new virtual reality game sensation sweeping the solar system. Just dream and pleasure will be yours! Unless you have a mind like Arnold Judas Rimmer's, that is.
3 Thanks for the Memory
9/20/88
Rimmer is depressed - his father is dead and no one loves him. Not even his fried egg, chutney and chilli sauce sandwich. It's about time he had a damp dream at least. Then four days go missing and Lister and Cat wake up with their legs in plaster. Have the aliens landed at last?
4 Stasis Leak
9/27/88
The crew of Red Dwarf have found a way to go back in time three million years. Back to the freaky fungus and the luscious Kochanski - the two loves of Lister's life. Who knows? Rimmer could even find Rimmer before he dies and bring him back so he doesn't have to be dead anymore. Well, that's the plan.
5 Queeg
10/4/88
Holly has been deposed and the back-up computer Queeg 500 is in control of Red Dwarf. Will Lister and Cat lead a revolt after they have been forced to clean the corridor floors? Will Rimmer's legs ever be the same again after Queeg's fitness regime? Has Holly got something up his sleeves? Would he know where to look if he had sleeves anyway?
6 Parallel Universe
10/11/88
Holly's latest invention - the Holly Hop Drive - is supposed to take Red Dwarf back to Earth in a flash. In fact, it takes them into a parallel universe where everything exists exactly the same, but opposite. Imagine the horror of a female Rimmer and a pregnant Lister.

About this show

Cult sci-fi comedy following a gang of space bums across the galaxy as they face shapeshifting aliens, time holes and even a monster made from mutton vindaloo. When a radiation leak wipes out the entire crew of his ship, Dave Lister wakes up three million years later to find his only companions are a life-form evolved from his cat and Arnold J Rimmer, a hologram simulation of his pedantic dead bunk-mate. Aimlessly roaming the universe, the ramshackle crew encounter danger and disaster at every turn. Can they stay alive long enough to find a way back to Earth?

One of the episodes I've watched is missing the laugh track. They apparently put the wrong one up for watching. (Season 8, episode 1: Tikka to Ride). Also, missing the specials like Smeg Ups and so forth.

A wonderful sitcom. I discovered this show as a kid in the early 90's on PBS Saturday nights at 11:30.... It stayed in my subconscious all these years came back again and now I have all the seasons on DVD. Anxiously awaiting season 11 & 12. If you love wacky British humor give this show a chance it will change you like it did to me! 😃 Smeggin Brilliant!

I've been watching this show since the late 80's. Just like to Say Thanks to PBS for Making Red Dwarf Possible for Us to watch here in the USA or I would never have known of this show Red Dwarf. I've seen every episode they have ever had so far. And, this show never gets old cause it's just that good. I purchased the full eight seasons on dvd a couple of years ago. And, season 9, and season 10 on dvd. I'm now re-purchasing all seasons on Google Play. I wanted my collection to be digitalized in the Cloud. So, I can watch any episode anytime without messing with any dvd's. And, it is Brilliant. This show "Red Dwarf" Ultimately Rocks.
