The first episodes in season 1 focus to much on visual effects and not enough on actual action. I still think it was/is worth the money and I have higher hopes for season 2 which is why I gave four stars

I loved Witchblade when it first ran with the TV movie in 2000, then seasons 1 and 2 in 2001 and 2002 respectively. The action, visual effects and characters all made this show worth watching each and every week. I always had the feleing of wanting more and was sad to see its cancellation after season 2. Definitely worth the money, as are the DVDs of the series which I also own.
