Ok Read the books and have seen the movie. I loved both. I'm disappointed with the show. I realize they have to make changes from the books to make it work for TV but it's to much that story line doesn't really make since. The only actor I like is Magnus. The special effects are getting better which makes me happy. The way they mark the circle members looks like dried ketchup. I'm shocked that the author is allowing this many changes. Also the Seraph blades looked 10 times better in the movie. SMH

I watched and I love the look and feel they give the show. Although I am a little disappointed that that they're not quite following the sense of the novel. Example... Clary's mother willingness to incorporate Clary in the shadow hunter world in little ways. In the novels she was very against Clary knowing anything about it. The actress that plays Clary fits the complete image of her but could try not make Clary look like a dumb blond with her reactions to everything unfolding before her.

Love the story line. Im not a fan of the main actress. Im not an expert. Im juts gunnah say theres something about her that doesnt let me fall in to the drama. I want to li Uve tge show. But she can disconnect me. maybe they shouldve gave the part to someone better, someone with more passion. She exagerates thinking tht it can make up for it. There are many actresses that can look innocent and can act at the same time. I blame the director though. He lacks more experience than she does. He should be able to see how bad she is. I think the rest are pretty good though. Maybe the director meant to decorate this actress by spashing all of these great actors around so that she doesnt look so bad. Well too bad mr director. Her hair makes her bad acting pop right out.
