1 My Name is Jake- Part 1
9/4/98
A spaceship plummets to Earth in a construction site, and five unsuspecting teens – Jake, Rachel, Marco, Cassie, and Tobias – discover a dying alien, an “Andalite” prince named Elfangor, who communicates with them in thought-speak. Intrigued, they “listen” as Elfangor warns them that Earth has been invaded by the evil “Yeerks,” green, slug-like creatures, which enslave their victims one by one by crawling into their ears and taking control of their minds. To empower and protect the young Earthlings, Elfangor gives them a unique Andalite gift – the ability to morph into any animal they touch. Now, the five “Animorphs” must use their newly acquired power to battle the Yeerks and save the galaxy. They must trust no one, and nothing will ever be the same again...
2 Underground
9/17/98
There’s something suspicious about a new club called “The Sharing.” Jake’s all-star basketball player brother, Tom, has quit the team to join, and Marco’s father is also enthusiastic about signing up. When The Sharing holds a meeting at the school, the Animorphs, posing as Controllers, take advantage of the opportunity to find out more. They are led into an ominous “Yeerk Pool,” where Controllers must “revitalize” every three days to survive...but will the Animorphs ever get out alive?
3 On The Run
9/24/98
After a terrifying close call in the Yeerk Pool, the Animorphs decide to split up and gather more information. While Rachel and Cassie find out about The Sharing and look for the missing Tobias, Jake and Marco make a startling discovery about Elfangor’s disk...!
4 Between Friends
10/1/98
Rachel’s best friend Melissa is acting strange and distant. Intent on finding out why, Rachel sneaks into Melissa’s house and morphs into her pet cat. In the process, Rachel is captured in cat morph. When Jake tries to rescue her in dog morph he is captured himself! Will the Animorphs escape before their two-hour time limit is up or will they become members of animal kingdom...forever?
5 The Message
10/8/98
Cassie and Tobias are having strange visions and feeling someone’s pain.... Cassie follows her visions and discovers another injured Andalite has crashed on Earth. This young Andalite, named Ax, is unsure of whom to trust. Should he place his faith in the young humans who possess the Andalite’s unique ability to morph, or that other stranger, who appears to be of his own Andalite race?
6 My Name is Jake-Part 2
9/10/98
Scared and curious, the Animorphs experiment with Elfangor’s gift. On Cassie’s family farm, Jake, Rachel, Marco, and Cassie take turns practicing their new morphing powers, experiencing, for the first time, what it feels like to be a horse, a cat, and a rat. The Animorphs, now confident about their new ability, return to the crash site to retrieve a lost disk given to them by Elfangor, who warned the kids to guard it with their lives. To their horror, when the Animorphs arrive at the construction site they find the place filled with “human-Controllers,” or Yeerk slaves...!
7 The Capture - Part 1
1/10/99
For the last two years, Jake’s dad has been planning the installation of a new health clinic at the local hospital. On the eve of the grand opening with the Governor, Jake discovers that the clinic’s most generous benefactor is...a Yeerk! The Animorphs must infiltrate the clinic before the Governor, one of the country’s most powerful politicians, is infected!
8 The Capture- Part 2
9/21/14
Jake is acting pretty normal...but he did fall into the Yeerk pool. The Animorphs decide to play it safe and keep Jake under close watch for three days. If he does have a Yeerk in his brain, it will perish without Kandrona rays. Meanwhile, Ax, still new to planet Earth, must face the challenge of morphing.
9 The Escape
10/15/98
The Animorphs have discovered a secret weapon to use against the Yeerks – maple-flavored oatmeal! The Yeerks crave it, and when they eat it, they are unable to control their hosts! But to use the oatmeal weapon successfully, the Animorphs will have to return to their darkest nightmare...the Yeerk Pool!
10 The Alien
10/22/98
Homesick for his own planet, Ax uses a high-powered telescope to contact his father, and becomes hurt and upset when he blames him for entrusting the Animorphs with the Andalite power to morph. Ax tries to hide his feelings, but soon learns that he must trust the Animorphs if they are to fight together against the Yeerks.

Boy, are the books better than the TV series... <\p> The series is poorly made, and the effects are bad ; even for a '98 series. Seriously hope they release a remake, because this is a great series. <\p> There's a rumor going on that they're making a film adaptation. Hope it gets made.

Really, I don't like the show.😞 😒 😑 The books are WAY better then the show. And besides, the books have all the info, when the show only has bits and pieces of it.😊

This rating is based on the fact that as a 32 year old adult I can still recall watching this at 10 years old in my uncles house after school with my best friend every new episode. I adored the books as a kid and still think they are nostalgic gold. I am glad my kids now read my old books and the fact I can share this with them makes it so much cooler. My kids love learning about things "when I was a kid" which at 32 I really feel like a senior but I also remember my oldest is 8 years old and that perspective, like mine at 10, is a magical and dramatic thing.
