Being Human

Having fled their lives in Bristol, the supernatural heroes are in Wales to continue their under-the-radar existence. With Annie stuck in Purgatory, Mitchell, George and Nina are desperate to get her back. Mitchell crosses into the Afterlife where he meets Lia, a flirtatious girl who leads him through Purgatory, making him revisit crime scenes of his past.

In the hospital George and Nina are confronted by Adam, a bloodthirsty teenage vampire who is after one of Nina's patients. Meanwhile a middle-class vampire, Richard, sent by the vampire aristocracy, propositions Mitchell to stay away from the Box Tunnel Twenty police investigation but he can't leave George, Nina and Annie.

Annie encounters Sasha, who is unlike any of other supernatural the heroes have encountered before -- she's a zombie! Sasha is in denial about being dead and Annie is desperate to give her a new lease of 'life'. Sasha instead urges Annie to make the most of life and confess her true feelings to Mitchell. Mitchell, meanwhile, must deal with Graham, a geeky vampire who dangerously mimics him.

Nina is pregnant but fearful since the baby was conceived while she and George were transformed as werewolves. When searching for information, they meet surly McNair and his son Tom, who claims he was born a werewolf. Nearing a full moon, Mitchell is scared of the werewolves and the prophecy he has been told. He arranges for McNair to be captured but instead, George, Nina and Tom are caught.

Things go from bad to worse when arch-nemesis Herrick turns up in the local hospital. Panicked that the authorities will discover Herrick's supernatural status, the gang takes him home claiming he is Nina's uncle. Mitchell wants to kill him immediately, but Herrick doesn't seem to remember if he's a vampire or not. Herrick's life hangs in the balance as the housemates decide his fate.

George is saddened to learn of his father's death. While attending his funeral, he comes face to face with his father's ghost who asks him to complete a daunting task. Meanwhile, Mitchell's love for Annie deepens and Herrick has a secret that can save his life, should the prophecy of his death come true. To complicate matters, an investigator arrives asking questions about the Box Tunnel Murder.

Detective Nancy Reid questions Mitchell about his involvement in the Box Tunnel Massacre and gathers fingerprint evidence from him. She is able to prove he was the killer and arrests Mitchell. Nancy finds Herrick in the attic at the peak of his bloodlust and he feasts on her. And at the station, Mitchell's photograph is being taken. Could this reveal the existence of supernaturals to the world?

Herrick rescues Mitchell from prison. Mitchell decides to side with Herrick, if it guarantees his survival. Willing to save her friends, Annie sacrifices by crossing into the Afterlife. But Lia reveals that she fabricated the prophecy and has lured Annie to punish Mitchell. Realizing he will never be human, Mitchell returns to the house to try and convince his friends that they need to kill him.
