I don't think this show was made with the average viewer in mind. PFFR (the guys who brought the world "wonder showzen") rarely appeal to the "common man." This show asks deep questions about faith, racism, violence, sexism, and a whole bunch of other stuff, but rarely provides any answers. In that way it is like most other adult swim shows. What makes this so much better than, say, "Robot Chicken" is the fact that the humor and awkward situations are all here simply to provide the dark, crazed atmosphere that this show dwells in, not to serve as the point of the entertainment. Calling this show a "comedy" just doesn't fit, it's really more of a serial drama with surreal comedic elements. Not quite as thought-provoking as "Xavier: Renegade Angel", but when it's firing on all cylinders it's at least as funny as that show. Also, the southern backdrop feels more authentic to Georgia-based Adult Swim's lineup than Xavier's mock-Kung Fu-style wandering did. In short, another great but overly freaky outing from PFFR that MAY attract more viewers than their other material simply because of its middle-america-friendly setting.

This show is one of the strangest and funniest I've ever seen and I'm into strange. That sounded wrong...much like the description of this whackjob comedy but somehow it's all right, every weird bit of it.
