About this show

AMC's new unscripted series, Comic Book Men, dives deep into fanboy culture by following the antics in and around master fanboy Kevin Smith's New Jersey comic shop, where both staff and customers geek out over mind-blowing pop culture artifacts and the legends behind them. Leading the crew behind the counter are moody manager Walt, uber-nerd Mike, career slacker Bryan, and Ming, the shop's go-to whipping boy. As the team buys, sells and discovers the treasures of the comic collecting world, they share all the juicy details with Kevin through their outrageous podcast, which is woven throughout the series.

I was a fan up to the middle of season three, and it bombed for me at the end of season three. This year's season, I just couldn't watch it anymore. I'm not that person their aiming for I guess. It's just a parody of it's self now. So much for true comic fans being that goal of the show.

What a great show. It keeps you up with comics and you get to laugh at the same time. Walt, ming, Bryan and Mike are great guys I know I would love to work at the stash and have conversations like those guys have. Ťruly a great show.

fun show with plenty of information for the geek minded and everyone else as well. always good for reminiscing about classic toys and comics. The Bionic Woman is even featured in an episode when Lindsay Wagner stopped in.
