I do very much enjoy this show. I especially do the early seasons! One can always tell and never does it seem a reach as the story line makes one feel the “truth” in and for the everyday black family. Sure, many of my brothers and sisters don’t even live near to this level. But this to them, is understandable. Possibly in reach for their children, grandchildren! No singular economic stream for them all. Just one or two stand outs, really making it. And Mary Jane… that’s my girl! I’d marry her!

I love the intellect of Mary Jane. Her risky attitude, her self proclaimed black woman power and her challenge to find love (black love) is too close to my own reality. Only I'm not a journalist. It's amazing what challenges that one must face as a black women especially to venture into the unknown and then finally what we were not looking for shows up and rescues us. That unknown becomes our happiness once we take that leap. I would recommend this show to all of my friends if they really want to understand me and get to know themselves sometime for real. I've been in this since season one and I can not get enough. Definitely a fan and well worth the time and money.

So freakin Good! Gabrielle Union never disappoints. The men are a little recycled when it comes to Black shows but that doesn't make them any less handsome. I highly recommend if you're into career, family & drama.
