About this show

New York Ink follows tattoo artist Ami James as he puts it all on the line to become the Tattoo King of New York City. Always looking for his next big challenge, Ami's new shop will be opening up right in the heart of SoHo. A new shop means hiring a whole new crew, and with that, a whole new set of problems.

I enjoy watching the artists work close up. It is hard to even decide if any are better than the others, as all of the tats come out looking nice. It's also fun seeing their different personalities in action.

I wish they would release seasons 2 and 3 on DVD already!
