"Strong woman" Olivia pope returns time and time again to her abusive relationships and breathless tirades. This is a show about terrible people doing terrible things. The representation of the political system is laughable at best, and even characters that were upright and just have been thrown under the bus of "everyone does it, so you don't need morals either". I've watched since the beginning, and at this point only do it out of morbid curiosity to see how bad the train wreck of a show will be. Shonda's lost it with this one.

If you like a show that pushes adult content then here you go. I personally think it has taken away from the show. Totally loved how strong and fierce Olivia and her team of gladiators were the first season. Nov 2015: I gave it another try this season, and well, just not worth my time. It's a bummer because the strong Olivia that started the show has turned into a character I just don't have interest in watching. Same goes for her disintegrating 'gladiators'.

The exact same story of a young woman who has daddy issues. Dad is a spy, but is he a good guy or a bad guy? I swear the only time a female lead is in any TV show she has to have daddy issues and be involved in spying. Almost the same show as "Blacklist" only this one has no James Spader to redeem it. Elements of "House of Cards" are present but lack in actual drama or suspense. Everything that makes "House of Cards" dramatic, suspenseful or even worth watching are absent in this show. They got it all wrong. Predictable and not entertaining.
