Putting this simply: I was too young when it first came on, but watched it a year ago. I'm rewatching and it's just as good! One of the best shows to have been on tv!

TOTALLY ENJOYED this season/series! Not just the first season either. The ENTIRE /ALL seasons! The portrayal of prison life was quite authentic with the exception of a few areas that were "Hollywood-ized". Anyone that has served any prison time will pick out those areas right away. HIGHLY ADDICTIVE series! Done very well. I only wish they had created more seasons.

Retired correctional officer who starred out working in a MaxSec Facility my first 8 years on the job. I was not a witness to a lot of violence but the everyday routine and stresses are realistic....so realistic, that l vowed to NEVER get locked up for anything... Best movie about prison life l have ever seen.
