Retired correctional officer who starred out working in a MaxSec Facility my first 8 years on the job. I was not a witness to a lot of violence but the everyday routine and stresses are realistic....so realistic, that l vowed to NEVER get locked up for anything... Best movie about prison life l have ever seen.

They Should've Never Stopped Making this Series. Still Relevant Today They Really should Consider Doing New Episodes, in a World Where every Young Knucklehead thinks he's A Jack the Lad or Top Boy thinks he's Smarter than the Law-it would be a Public Service to Keep this Series Running.

TOTALLY ENJOYED this season/series! Not just the first season either. The ENTIRE /ALL seasons! The portrayal of prison life was quite authentic with the exception of a few areas that were "Hollywood-ized". Anyone that has served any prison time will pick out those areas right away. HIGHLY ADDICTIVE series! Done very well. I only wish they had created more seasons.
