The first two seasons are definitely worth watching and show what Torchwood is all about. The third season is pretty decent, but the show begins to decline and the fourth season isn't worth watching at all (unless you're one of those people who have to watch everything). The fourth season was ruined when they brought it away from Cardiff, Wales, UK and put it in California, USA. It is nothing like the previous three seasons and it follows tired American tropes.

I bought the entire seasons and Miracle Day Season. Love, love, love this set! CAPT. Jack is a character from Doctor Who. The characters all work well together and play off each other. I wanted badly to see Jack and Gwen to finally either have that relationship or him finding a partner. Loved Owen as the wise ass doctor. Ianto was perfect as the butler/alien chaser and you have Toshiko. Gwens poor husband, he usually gets the stiff end of things. The story lines were fresh, and very enjoyable.
