About this show

Part CSI, part X-Files, Torchwood is the team we'd all love to be part of, where excitement comes before morality and the rules are made as you go alongΒ…The 21st Century is when it all changes and you've got to be ready. Separate from the government, outside the police, beyond the United Nations: Torchwood sets its own rules. Led by the enigmatic Captain Jack Harkness, the Torchwood team delves into the unknown and fights the impossible.

The first two seasons are definitely worth watching and show what Torchwood is all about. The third season is pretty decent, but the show begins to decline and the fourth season isn't worth watching at all (unless you're one of those people who have to watch everything). The fourth season was ruined when they brought it away from Cardiff, Wales, UK and put it in California, USA. It is nothing like the previous three seasons and it follows tired American tropes.
