Level 239 is the most difficult level to beat even while using boosters. Only 12 moves and it costs 900 gold to play on. Candy Crush gives players an option to watch an ad for extra moves. Gardenscapes should do the same. Repeating the same level over and over gets boring quick. Candy Crush will give out boosters after the player continues to repeat a level over and over. This keeps players engaged. Paying to beat a level just isn't going to cut it.

Played for many years now & this is a great game. The "puzzles" initially drew me in that's only a small part of this early stages to the game. At this point, I'm waiting for the regular releases of new levels & yes, a little patience & you can get through.... EXCEPT for the "Cups" - rehashed previous stages where they up the difficulty so much that you MIGHT get through eventually but by then all the mini quests (which are fun) are over. Now I just don't play until the new levels are released.

Update (5/2024). Impossible to advance more than a few levels without getting stuck for ages on a tough level. The side game that requires energy, uses it up too fast and you end up feeling frustrated and not achieving the goals. It shouldn't cost $30 just to finish one adventure! Ridiculous. I used to enjoy the game enough to spend money on it, but not anymore. It's too expensive and not fun anymore.
