Ratings and reviews

Discord has been getting progressively worse with every update. The new UI is awful and difficult to navigate, it's riddled with bugs, gifs constantly make it stutter and freeze up completely. It's hard to leave calls in the mobile app, and its overall completely worse than it was originally. I used to think it was 4 or 5 stars, but now I would give it zero if I could. Maybe fix the bugs, and give back the option for the original UI and that would change.

Solid 3 stars. Some features Discord releases can make communications a bit more fun and engaging. However, it has too many slowdowns, moving around buttons too much, unintuitive changes to the UI. I like the soundboard and the cosmetic customization they offer, but Discord is making the app more difficult to use with poor UI choices. Some UI elements are just meant to be kept simple and clean to use without hassle. Don't patronize me. I've used this app for years,so I know what I'm looking for.

You know, I use this app all the time, and it's the main source of communication my girlfriend and I use. It works SOMETIMES, but a lot of times lately, this app constantly drops calls, notifications won't go off, or we are unable to answer each other's calls! At times, the video chatting is horrible, constantly freezing or turning the camera off. Even restarting the app or uninstalling it doesn't help. Please fix your problems, Discord!
