The Change The Game Design Challenge is Google Play’s initiative to build a more inclusive future through gaming and education. Gaming has the potential to inspire creativity, connect people, build communities, and serve as a gateway to new worlds, passions, and professions. We aim to inspire more teens as players and empower them as creators to drive meaningful change in the industry.

Participants will score an online game dev workshop with other Game Changers. Complete the entire course to earn a certificate of completion and a new Chromebook!

In this workshop led by Girls Make Games, you will discover how to create real playable games and collect all the know-how and tools to go pro. Complete the entire course to earn a certificate of completion and a new Chromebook!

You don’t need expert coding skills or perfect drawings to be a Game Changer. The most important thing about your game is that you dreamed it up and then you made it. So even if this is your first shot, you’ve already got everything you need to make an incredible mobile game.
