The Abyss of Slumber

■Synopsis■
A patient is brought into the hospital where you work.
His name is Licht—despite having no injuries or illness, he lies in an unending sleep.
Jackson, the attending physician, proposes a radical cure: a device that lets people enter a patient’s dream to retrieve their soul.
Jackson and Conrad attempt the procedure, but the machine malfunctions. You, intern Ray, and childhood friend Subaru are dragged into Licht’s dream instead.
Inside, you awaken in the orphanage where Licht grew up—now twisted into a nightmare, crawling with monstrous creatures.

■Characters■
Ray – The arrogant prodigy. Brilliant medical student, pressured by high expectations. Abused in childhood, his memories were erased by orphanage experiments.
Subaru – The cool type. Heterochromatic high schooler, nearly killed by his mother. Fears women, memories erased.
Jackson – The determined physician. Searching for his missing sister, he infiltrated the hospital. Gifted, unyielding, devoted to saving lives.
Conrad – The mature guide. Calm, wise pharmaceutical expert who reins in Jackson.
Licht – The mysterious boy. Cheerful and kind, treats orphans as family. Amnesiac, later learns his father ran the experiments.
