The Anova Precision® Oven is the first combi oven with pro-level features designed specifically for the home cook. Paired with the Anova Oven app, you’ll enjoy a fully connected cooking experience and the most advanced features of the Oven.

Break out of your everyday cooking routine with inspiration from the step-by-step recipes developed specifically for the Anova Precision Oven. With the connected app, you can start cooking with a single button press and the Wi-Fi enabled Oven will preheat to your recipe’s recommended settings. As your food cooks, you’ll be able to keep an eye on your timers and food probe readings remotely, and notifications will alert you when it’s time for the next hands-on step.

If you want to cook freestyle, you can create your own multi-stage cooking programs in the app. Define the oven settings for each stage of cooking and the transitions between stages to build stress-free, no-compromise recipes for all of your favorite foods. Your cook history is stored automatically so you can replay your past cooks, or share your recipes with the community.

Timer still doesn't notify me time's up until I unlock my phone. STILL NOT FIXED. I would rather not use an app for an oven, but Anova has built their oven to require app use. I can't turn the light on except in the app, and temp adjustments are frustrating on the squirrely oven screen. Unfortunately the app freezes constantly, and the preset recipes, which I use only for the oven settings, make you scroll through the whole recipe to see the settings. Poor design all around.

The app itself integrates well with the oven. It is great to see the recipe directly with the cooking stages. The main issue is with stability of the app. When cooking, the app will crash regularly; sometimes four or five times during a single cook. The oven generally seems to continue as planned, but it is very frustrating to have to restart so often.

The oven itself is great, and really useful with all of its different functions. However, I dislike that it is necessary to use an app to use the oven, and the app crashes A LOT. Like almost all the time. Also, alerts for ending of cook stages are way off. Not by seconds, but by entire minutes. It's amazing when it works, but it usually doesn't.
