App Permissions Explained:

* Audio: Our Private Messaging feature allows the sending and receiving of recorded voice messages between app users.

* Camera: QRCode story/user sharing/scanning feature requires the camera to capture qr encoded images.

* Phone status: Text to Speech feature will auto pause story reading in headset mode when detecting in coming calls which requires phone status.

Ratings and reviews

Somewhat recently, Android updated to a new version. Since that update, the bottom bar when reading (download, like, share, etc) is effectively unusable as now it's behind the bar for my phone (Home, back, etc.). While all of these functions can be worked around to still work, it's very frustrating to have to work around.

I have always loved this app, but lately it will not open anything. It loads and loads and loads and then says retry. I used to reset it by closing the app and now that does nothing. You need to fix this issue. I spent 20 minutes trying to open up my favorite stories to see there have been any updates. I gave up after 20 minutes of load and retry. I am missing chapters even though they have already been published. Fix this!!!!!!!

this app is incredible, or at least it used to be, last update was last year so I kinda wonder if they will delete it. lately when I'm listening to something it cuts off/stops and after 5 seconds the audio setting just goes away, so i have to restart the audio. sometime if not most, books take their time to load up, I can't even listen to books anymore without being interrupted, need to have the phone on hand to rewind a sentence or a paragraph which defeats the purpose of audio
