About this game

In this photo-realistic adventure game based on Greek myths, you’ll explore over a hundred scenes created from original photographs of Greece. Fight monsters, encounter colorful live-action characters, and match wits against challenges based on the exploits of the greatest heroes of all time. Like Hercules, you fight the Hydra, like Daedalus, you build wings to fly, and like Theseus, you challenge the Minotaur in the heart of the labyrinth.

Featuring an animated hint line and an illustrated information resource that provides background on the myths, Wrath of the Gods takes you far beyond the limits of the traditional graphic adventure game: the life-like characters, lavish soundtrack, and unparalleled photo-realism give you the experience of being inside a movie.

Features:
• Interactive puzzles and adventures based on the myths
• Sixty live-action characters
• In-game hints and information
• Extensive geography – go where you want, when you want
• Fight the Hydra, outsmart Medusa, and defeat the Minotaur
• 300 digital movies of heroes, gods, and monsters

Wrath of the Gods is a classic game with a cult following. In April 1994, Computer Gaming World said that Wrath of the Gods offered "hours and hours of enjoyment" for fans of Ray Harryhausen's Jason and the Argonauts and others. The magazine stated that unlike other multimedia titles it "is interactive enough to play like a game, yet still retains a cinematic feel", with good acting, a "solid story line", and hints for those unfamiliar with Greek mythology. Experience this newly updated version with crisp close-up videos of characters and a mobile touch-friendly interface. Save your progress throughout the game, then switch over to the desktop web version (wrathgame.com) and pick up where you left off. Before you know it, you will have realized your true potential as a hero and learned all about Greek mythology in the process!

I played this game so much as a young kid, back when computers and dial-up were rare. The only way to play this game eventually became through DOSBOX, where NPCs would cut off half their dialogue. I played this and was blown away -- not only is it a perfect working recreation of the original game, the graphics and audio have been remastered and look/sound amazing! I am ecstatic that this game has been given new life, and a chance for (a) new generation(s) to experience it.

I've been looking for a way to easily play this game forever. I'm so glad someone made it accessible. Only problem is a lot of the time the videos glitch when talking to a character but then it resets to right before you hit the talk icon to them and then it plays smoothly the second time.

An awesome nostalgic trip!! I used to play Wrath Of The Gods on PC back in the day .. Its shocking to not only be able to play it on my phone but a completely remastered version of it! This game was a great point and click adventure game back in the day with a friendly user interface, decent puzzle solving and an inventory system that was similar to classic Sierra and LucasArts adventure games.
