The My BMW App is optimized for vehicles built from 2014 onwards. The availability of individual app features depends on your vehicle equipment and your ConnectedDrive contract. The availability of app features may vary between countries.

Ratings and reviews

I've tried using the Samsung browser, the Chrome browser, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and even updating my password. I get an error every single time so the app does not work, period. Considering I do pay for Connected Drive, this is disappointing at best. Please fix it immediately, I expect better from BMW. UPDATE: The app is still useless. Do better, BMW.

The app works very well with some exceptions. First, there is a learning curve because some of the information you want to access is behind unexplained icons so until you figure out the icon legend, you are left searching. Second, the vehicle finder is terrible. It routinely shows the car parked in my driveway as being 4 miles away. I emailed Connected Drive help and recieved the same automated response every time which was pretty unhelpful. If those issue won't bother you then it's a good app

Previous issues (slowness and worthless Digital Key) aside, it rejected my password yesterday and since. I reset successfully on the web and have since logged in multiple times but the app still tells me that "I typed in" the wrong credentials - well, I didn't. Unable to use it, and no support to be found anywhere. Thank goodness I didn't transfer Electrify America into the app or I'd be dead in the water.
