Ratings and reviews

It was fun at first, then the inconsistencies started showing up. Like a unit with 10 percent health, less strength, lower power, and no "dug in" protection could beat a unit at full health, 50 percent more strength, with protection. I dumped more than 200 usd into this game, (yeah stupid, I know) but it was fun. Then it wasn't. Then I got pissed and tried to delete account and after 4 trys still couldn't. It's like dealing with facepunch studios, but worse.

It could easily be a 5 star game, but I have to give it 3. The game in itself is amazing. There is strategy needed for every element, there are plenty of different unit types, the counter play is incredibly fun to pull off - until you fight a golder. Who can just buy the counter for you or buy mass troops to overrun you. It takes zero skill and its aggravating to spend a week on a match to get beat that way. I would pay for security council if it came with the ability to play goldless games.

Everything about the setting and the theatre of the game is done very well and gives real weight to the decisions you make in-game. All the upgrades make sense, you can tell it had a lot of thought put into its design. The downside is the absolutely horrendous, ridiculous, 'Clash-of-Clans' level wait times for any of the research, upgrades to land or movements of troops. Sorry, but if a starting upgrade or research takes a day and a half for something that should be basic.....what're we doing?
