it does an amazing job at translating and I love the deepl anywhere function for helping me read books in foreign languages. I'd give 5 stars if the anywhere-icon could be turned on and off not from a persistant notification but from a button on the status bar (like wifi, data, Bluetooth, Shazam, etc)

An App that actually works.! ....... .....[27.11.2025].... ...... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This app no ads it's free to install, it's easy to use, it's translation is pretty much spot on. You are able to change the phrasing on how it will be interpreted by the other person, you can also choose to hear it said back to you in the language for both party's having the conversation. Google translate sucks compared to this APP...!! My opinion ONLY...!!

This is the best translation app I've used for non-Western languages and the free. version is great. The main thing stopping me from buying a full subscription is that it doesn't do a global page translation on mobile in a simple, intuitive way. If DeepL rolled out a function for global translate of a webpage using the translate anywhere button, not requiring copying of the text but worked inline, it would be a gamechanger. Still, I jump throguh hoops for the accuracy this app provides.
