Ratings and reviews

Good: pretty comprehensive Canada weather info. Not so good: 1. The radar images still load / reload much too slowly. I open the radar page, see clear skies and get on my bike, only to get caught by the huge rain that was nearly on top of me, but had loaded up too slow for me to see it in app. 2. Not clear at all how to make the radar refresh. 3. "Canada" splash screen eats time. (We know which country we're in!) 4. If it's not weather, it doesn't belong in the app. Thanks!

Location services are functional again in the app, thank you. Will confirm if the widget is updating properly again, too. In the meantime, the notification issue reported by others seems isolated to the current location, which the app claims is supposed to give you notifications, but I have found that to get them to work, you need to manually add locations and enable their notifications. Not ideal, but at least you'll get notified for your home area.

Not the best looking weather app but very functional with all the info you'd need really direct from Environment Canada. One thing that would be a nice QoL feature though is support for themed icons. They could ditch the "Canada" bit and just have it be the snow/rain cloud and sun logo. It would work really well.
