App is not bad, but recently I've been having an issue where I will lose the internet connection while in the app and then when I close it and re-open it says "unable to validate credentials..." Even though I checked to make sure my internet is working and I was just using the app. I usually have to wait until the next day before I can access it again. Very frustrating.

UPDATE 8/2025: This app has become extremely frustrating... 1) The app refuses to process more than 1 check from the same source for the same amount, despite the fact that the check numbers are all different. . 2) When taking pictures of checks to deposit via the app, the selection buttons now overlap my screen, making it impossible to make the deposit. 3) I now must drive to the bank every time I have a check to deposit.

This review is more for the Bank of Botetourt itself than the app. I understand the frustration sometimes with the app & agree that it needs some improvements. I have also read some of the reviews where people are saying that they will be changing banks over an app. My family has been banking with the Bank of Botetourt for about 40 yrs & the bank is an excellent bank & the customer service is excellent. I can guarantee you that you will not get the same personal relationship with a larger bank.
