About this app

AwoX HomeControl allows you to control your connected smart home devices.

Build your virtual home and browse your environment with one finger swipe, or see all your favorite devices as shortcuts in the home page.

Adjust the RGB color, brightness, set your preferred white temperature and unlock the full potential of your devices through HomeControl.

You can manage the Eglo connect.z and crosslink.z products, as well as the main connect.c products (lights, sensor and remote), and many more coming soon.

Keep an eye on your products with Home control even if they are connected to a voice assistant.
Group your devices and manage up to 50 products at once.
Control your devices from several smart phones at the same time.

A free account creation is needed, in order :

1. To be able to share your settings across several devices.

Install the application on multiple devices without additional configuration or reinstallation. Your setup is still available even if you change your phone.

2. To create a private and secure device network.

The data collected during the creation of your account (email address) has the sole purpose of providing the best user experience and the best quality of service.

AwoX HomeControl is the new Awox Application, providing all benefits from the latest features and updates.

If you already have an AwoX Smart CONTROL account, and in case you don’t own legacy devices in the following list : EGLO connect.wifi products, EGLO PLUG, EGLO PLUG PLUS or EGLO USB KEY, AwoX SmartLIGHTs, AromaLIGHTs, AwoX StriimLIGHTs, SmartPEBBLE and SmartPLUGs, then you can easily and automatically migrate your account to AwoX HomeControl. Just type in your AwoX Smart CONTROL credentials into AwoX HomeControl and follow the wizard to transfer automatically your products.

This is one of the worst apps I've ever come across. The physical products are disappointing as well...so many issues. For instance, the remote should be able to connect to 3 different lights, however it can not, even though I've tried several times. It only remembers one of the lights. Also, the color changing buttons don't work at all. I don't recommend the app and the Eglo products. Please don't respond to this review by offering to help me. Instead, redesign your product for all users.

The app is so unstable I can't get lights on most of the time. I have to often turn the light on and off multiple times from the switch to even get it to connect, and if it does connect, the connection will break once the phone screen turns off. The wake up time still hasn't caught up with local winter time and a lot of the time it just doesnt work. Also if you're trying to setup a wake up time in the evening, the light might just turn on 100% brightness when saving. It's so bad.

setup: 2 lights, 1 remote. issue: unable to read/manage/sync state of the remote control. If buttons of the remote are assigned from Awox, the buttons dont work. If buttons are assigned without Awox by longpressing them <30cm from the light, remote buttons work perfectly--until you run the Awox app, which 'detects' new (third party) devices with an option to 'keep' or 'delete'. Either option is chosen, state gets messed up again, and the remote/buttons stop working. DOUBLE FACEPALM.
