Both my boys love reading eggs. However giving 3 stars as the apps are regularly logged out on both their tablets and occasionally on my phone. The QR system to log back in is helpful but slow. It's such a frustration to go to use it and spend several minutes logging back in while my 4 year old is waiting. In 2025 there's no excuse not to hold the session/credentials in local cache and launch the update app on the existing session.

Good learning tool. Rated 3 stars for some usability issues. Almost every time my daughter goes to use it it has logged her out, so needs a parent to log it back in again, large inconsistencies in volume levels between different aspects of the app make it difficult to moderate volume for headphones or when other children may be trying to sleep nearby (e.g. intro videos are often much louder than learning play modules for some reason). No offline mode, so can't use on car trips or planes.

very good app, with not a lot of games/distractions but just enough to keep motivation going. I would even remove the games completely, leave only the short videos) the only thing, sometime levels are jumping to much harder level, but the final test is still super easy. could be balanced a bit more. my child loves it - not sure what she will be doing at school now, she can read already a lot.
