Queens is a challenging logic puzzle. Place a crown in every row, every column, and every region, but make sure that the crowns do not touch, even diagonally! Each puzzle has exactly one solution, which can be found through logic reasoning. No guessing is needed!

Queens can be classified as an object placement puzzle, like Battleship or Trees and Tents, and as binary determination puzzle, like Hitori or Nurikabe. The puzzle is very similar Star Battle (also known as "Two Not Touch"), where you need to place 2 stars instead of 1 crown per region. Users often refer to this logic puzzle as an interesting cross between Sudoku and Minesweeper.

Ratings and reviews

I rated this 5 stars, but after 80+ levels I'm still completing each level in less than 3 minutes, usually MUCH less. Easy to begin with, fair enough, but insultingly easy tells us that it's only here to put ads in front of eyes. Ads are very short too but it's still possible to spend more time on ads than on the puzzle! Also they've put as little effort as possible into the puzzle - I don't want bgm but tap sounds and a brief "ta-daa!" on completing a level would help a LOT.

Genuinely love this app more than anything else right now. The design is great, and there are only ads every few levels. I've only had this for a few days, and I've already played for hours. I hope more free levels come out soon!

played all the free levels and I love the app! it runs smooth and has some really neat mechanics like being able to cross out large areas of blocks quick and the "correct so far" option (emphasis on that cause sometimes I don't want a hint I just want reassurance), and i really like how the hints actually explains what you need to do and why. the only thing I don't like is ads, but their predictable and not disruptive, so great game!!
