It's played with 4 players.

Only Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks, and 10s are used from the 4 decks (80 cards total).

The goal is to collect the most points and win the number of tricks you bid for.

If the player who wins the bid doesn't reach the number they bid for, they receive a negative point.

Aces: 1 run = 100, 2 runs = 1000, 3 runs = 1500, 4 runs = 2000 points

Kings: 1 run = 80, 2 runs = 800, 3 runs = 1200, 4 runs = 1600 points

Queens: 1 run = 60, 2 runs = 600, 3 runs = 900, 4 runs = 1200 points

Jacks: 1 run = 40, 2 runs = 400, 3 runs = 600, 4 runs = 800 points

Trump suits (A, 10, K, Q, J): +150 points

Finance (Queen of Spades + Jack of Diamonds): 1 pair = 40, 2 pair = 300, 3 pair = 600 4 pairs = 3600 points

Married (King + Queen of the same suit): trump = 40 points, other suits = 20 points

The last trick winner scores +20 points.

If you don't get the number of points you bid, you receive a negative number of points.
Players who don't win any tricks remain with zero points.

🧩 Trumps and Game Rules

The first player reveals any card.

If the other players have a card of the same suit, they must play from the same suit.

If there is no card of that suit, they may hit with a trump card.

If there is no trump card, they may play any card.

The highest card or the one who played the trump card wins the trick.

In Hoskin, the highest card is the Ace, followed by a 10.

Since there are four of the same card, the same card can be played multiple times.
