**Notes
Microphones in most android devices are aligned to human voice. The maximum values are limited by the device. Very loud sounds(over ~90 dB) may not be recognized in most device. So please use it as just an auxiliary tools. If you need more accurate dB values, we recommend a actual sound level meter for that.

Ratings and reviews

The app is great. However, it lacks some basic features as below: It would be great to have background logging. The app could save measured sound levels with timestamps as a text file as long as the meter is running. An option to automatically start logging on launch, plus a simple log explorer to view past recordings, would be perfect.

This app is important to check the sound how loud is. In most US cities, according to the Law By Mike, a lawyer on YouTube with 15 million subscribers, I have to keep the music lower than 50 decibels between 11 PM and 7 AM. For example, I check my dad's speaker (that connects Bluetooth to his phone) in the living room to play the heavy metal with this app, and it is around 70 decibels.
