The latest update has added to the numerous problems that the past few updates caused. When I first started using the app it was very nice. You could arrange the cameras for viewing the way that you preferred. With updates, that option went away. Many people complained to no avail. Now, the newest update has stopped the notifications by email. I depend on these when I'm out of town. When I test the email alerts that once worked seamlessly, I get a 400 error message.

A camera is only as good as it's app. Reolink has such potential, but it's bogged down by their awful app. No rich notifications, and the notifications you do receive are so delayed that by the time you go to the event, it's over. If you click on a past notification, it just takes you to a live feed. In 2024, this is embarrassing.

The app doesn't fully support the NVR, monitor and mise are needed for full functionality. The app doesn't remember your connected devices when you reinstall the app. A full reset of EACH camera is needed. The app sometimes says a battery camera needs to be updated when the camera shows the most recent firmware. The cameras need to be fully reset then re-added to the app to get them back into the app. The app often has issues connecting and a force close re-open is needed.
