In the New Testament Jesus said many will be condemned because of "anomie" that is, for lack of law. Listen: "And because iniquity shall abound, the love will grow cold almost But he who endures to the end shall be saved.." (Matthew 24: 12-13)

In the original Greek text, the word is not wrong, is "ἀνομία" anomie, which means without law. In fact Jesus was saying that by multiplying the lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold.

In Matthew 7:23 Jesus said: So tell them explicitly: I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.

Again, anomie was translated iniquity. See that people who performed miracles and wonders were condemned because they kept not respect the law.
