About this app

The ES-KEY application serves to verify your 3D Secure payments with the ESSOX card on the Internet.
There is no longer any need to rewrite codes from SMS messages or complex passwords, just a fingerprint or face recognition is enough.


The technical requirements
Authorization of payments on the Internet via biometric data is only possible if your smart mobile device enables this function.

Biometric data is stored on your mobile device, no third party processes your biometric data.

The application is available for devices with Android operating system version 5.0 and higher.

How does it work
After entering your card details when making an online purchase, you will receive a push notification on your mobile to confirm the payment. You must have notifications enabled on your mobile.


You pay even if your mobile is offline.
You can also authorize the payment offline with the ES-KEY application using a QR code that you scan on the payment page. Subsequently, the ES-KEY will prompt you to confirm with the selected verification method on your mobile phone. Finally, you need to confirm the transaction on the payment page with the generated code.
