Enhancing the folklore of the railway and it’s creation, this AR app aims to provide every passenger travelling on the West Coast Wilderness Railway with a highly immersive experience that brings history and story telling to life in a stunning new way using augmented reality.
Using next-generation photorealism we give you the opportunity to step back in time and walk around locations from the railway from days gone by so you can truly experience what life must have been like in the railway’s heyday and during the epic hardships involved in it’s creation.
The app contains access to spectacular AR models of the route and each station to help plan your trip, and even gives a sneak peek of a life-like, full sized version of the locomotive that will bravely take you through some of the most beautiful and pristine temperate rainforest in the world.
