About this app

The companion app connects to your device using your Wi-Fi network. As long as you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network you can control your connected audio device from anywhere in your home.


Pin your favourite audio content (podcasts, radio stations and on-demand audio) to the ‘My Audio’ section of the app homescreen for quick and easy access. Use the app to select the audio source you want to play, discover new audio, change the volume and audio settings, and turn your connected audio device on or off. With customisable presets available for each source, you can quickly select a different station or song without having to search for it.

Supported audio sources include Radio (Internet Radio, DAB, FM Radio), On-demand services (Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer, Podcasts) and Input (Line Input, Bluetooth, USB). The sources available in OKTIV depend on the functionality of your connected audio device.

Essentially good and useful; pretty straightforward to use. Occasionally loses link to device which would be understandable if I was using different devices but I only have one. The ability to favourite tracks on USB and make playlists from USB music would be great, at the moment there's very little functionality relating to USB which I use to protect me from the vagaries of streaming services that add and remove music on a whim.

2 stars until I changed the setting to use the radio's IP address instead of the app trying to find it each time. Now the app is much more reliable

This app is very troublesome. It is a nightmare to set up and configure and takes great patience to live with. My initial review was scathing- the developers are asking for log reports from the numerous complainants who are seeking help and advice. HOWEVER, when I sent my log report I got a curt email in reply stating that they- the developers- are not responsible for the problems and even gaslit me by saying that I ought to contact my retailer- Roberts Radio - re a faulty device! Dodgy AF. 😤
