BetweenUs is an AI‑assisted mediation app for people who keep running into the same conflicts at home, work, school and more. It gives roommates, couples, and families and teachers a calmer way to move from “we’re stuck” to “we have a plan,” without live confrontation or picking sides.

Each person starts by sharing their side privately, by voice note or text. The app helps you explain what happened, how you feel, and what matters most, with no audience and no pressure to get the words perfect. Your draft stays yours until you decide to share it.

BetweenUs then turns both sides into a neutral “shared map” of the conflict. You see what you agree on, where you differ, and where the real friction lives, all in one calm, organized view. Instead of “you always” and “you never,” you get language that makes both perspectives feel real without making either side wrong.

From that shared map, the app suggests a few fair, specific paths forward. You can pick one together and turn it into a clear agreement with simple checklists, soft deadlines, and optional check‑ins so it actually sticks. Think “quiet hours after 10pm,” “same‑day heads‑up for guests,” or “reply within about two hours during the day” instead of vague promises.

BetweenUs is designed for asynchronous use, so you don’t need to be in the same room or even the same mood to make progress. You can work through a conflict on your own time, then come back to review summaries and agreements together when things are cooler.

Safety and privacy are built into the core of the app. Drafts are private by default, you can export your summaries and agreements as simple files, and you can delete threads and data from your account whenever you want. If the system detects signs of self‑harm, abuse, or urgent danger, it pauses the normal flow and surfaces crisis and safety resources instead of pretending it can handle those situations. BetweenUs is a communication tool, not therapy, legal advice, or crisis counseling.
