About this app

Everybody gets moody. Moods are a natural part of your emotional rhythm. Tracking them can help you find patterns in how your moods vary both over time and how they’re influenced by different situations and circumstances.

You probably already know that you feel good when you are in a positive mood, such as when you feel powerful, loving, or optimistic. And, you probably already know you feel bad when you are in a negative mood, such as when you feel anxious, scared, or sad. Other times, you might not really understand how you feel.

With this app you can record your mood and associate it with a wide range of emotions and triggers. This will help you track your thoughts as a daily journal, providing you with a visual representation so you can understand your moods and help you manage them so you can feel better.

- Become more aware of your feelings and emotions
- Create a space to reflect on your feelings and emotions
- Recognize patterns and triggers
- Make better decisions related to triggers and moods
- Share your mood checks with your therapist and get the support you need

With Moodlight Premium you can:

- Get stats: see your overall mood/emotion/trigger breakdowns and spot trends and patterns
- View history: browse your previous entries and see how your moods and responses change over time

I use this app almost every day. It's very simple, aesthetically pleasing, and if you purchase Plus (for super cheap!) you get access to a couple very helpful features. I love that there is a large variety of Emotions to choose from, and that you're not limited to only emotions that match the mood you initially selected. I also love that you can write your own triggers, and the app remembers them. ALSO, the Moodlight Assistant is surprisingly helpful; I recommend using it at least once.

Best app on emotional reflection/ analysis there is. And premium features don't stop you from using the app, but the premium has a very fair cost! Really great and simple app, which is hard to find today, with all the apps using images and bright colors and adding millions of unwanted features. While moodlight does the job it was created for simply and perfectly

Love the app. My favorite part is that it actually reads the notes left with each check-in and then provides personalized advice that is actually very on point and insightful The reason for 4/5 is that the app doesn't let me screenshot or share this advice in any way. I get that this is done to protect my privacy, but I'd like the option to turn this confidentiality feature off because it isn't protecting anything, just getting in my way
