The Cologne Weather App provides you with answers to these and other questions in a clear and concise manner on the "Current" homepage. The weather measurements come from the private weather stations in Cologne South and Cologne North, which measure, among other things, temperature, wind speed, precipitation, sunshine duration, and the UV index and post the weather data online. The values are updated every minute and provide a detailed overview of the weather conditions in the Cologne metropolitan area.
The "News" page informs you about interesting facts about the weather in Cologne and new features within the app. You can also receive the news via push notification. Under "Measured Values Cologne-South" and "Measured Values Cologne-North," you can find more detailed information on the individual measured values. The "Archive" of the Cologne-South weather station provides a wide range of weather reviews in tabular and graphical formats up to January 2009. The "Weather Forecast" contains a 24-hour and a 10-day forecast for Cologne. The "Rain Forecast" displays precipitation events for the next 100 minutes. It can be customized for your district or city, and in combination with the "Radar," you can always see whether a rain or thunderstorm area is approaching in the near future. "Weather Hazards" gives you a detailed overview of the warning situation in the city of Cologne, in the individual districts, or in Cologne's neighboring cities. A wide range of astronomical data—specifically tailored to the Cologne location—is available under "Astro & Geo." "Health & Environment" includes information on pollen counts, thermal stress, the expected UV index, and air quality in Cologne.
