I clearly selected sign-up burrito before checkout and it disappeared once I completed the order and staff were very unhelpful in solving this issue. I am very unhappy with how a simple order turned out. EDIT 13/11/17: I had this "issue" clarified but not resolved. Implementation of coupon system is poor and long loading times when making orders.
DONT USE THIS APP!!!. You have no reasureance that your order will even happen. Stores pass blame for failures on to "head office" like it's going out of style. Just order instore. It has its own damn mind when sending your order to a store. It sent my order to a store 20 mins away instead of the store that I was at. The shops then claimed the frequent "oh chain/ franchise " and would not cancel the order
I was a frequent diner at gyg and have accumulated points on my card. I decided to switch to the app which asks you for a lot of personal info and promises a free burrito. Like many people here, I tried to redeem it but the staff had no idea and pointed me to some contact me area of the app. Disappointed, I walked away and spend my money somewhere else. Gyg, your bad marketing has lost you a loyal customer. 0 stars If i could, you've got my personal info for free though, great job!
Very unhappy that after a month of racking up points on the app, with an account that is fully signed in, I'm not able to redeem/use the points. The staff can say only, "Sorry your account doesn't come up in the system," after they scan the barcode. The whole app is clickbait junk, written by amateur programmers, resulting in nothing but wasted time and broken promises. Update: Dealing with them since writing this review has been a complete waste of time. Quote: "We don't see the points in the system." Are you f'ing serious? That's why we are having this conversation! Conclusion: Do not waste even one second of your time using this app or trying to help them fix it.
Unusable. All ASAP orders sent as 12:00am to King William store 31/12/17. Had to wait 20 minutes for staff to remedy as the line kept ignoring the cashiers instruction by only fulfilling in store orders. Cashier was as helpful as possible, given the circumstances. No need for further communication, just fix your app.
I like the app. The only problem I've experienced is that every now and again the android version doesn't show reasonable pick up time options. It shows 00:00 as the ASAP time and lists only options from that time to 4:00 am or something like that. The iOS version doesn't seem to have the same problem though. Cheers.
