Ok. I decided to give this a shot. Download was easy. I signed up with false information on purpose so I could see the app features before submitting my real info. This was done also because I read many reviews about scammers. The features on the app seem user friendly and also seem self explanatory. Like most other gig apps there are filters and ways for you to tweak your profile so as to attract the clients you want. I figured I'd go ahead and sign up with my real info, but when I searched the app to be able to close the account, there was nothing. I eventually found how to do it within the FAQ section. It suggests a link which I pressed and repeatedly got an error message. That for, me, is unacceptable. Imo, closing an account doesn't have to be difficult in any way, including having to use broken links or having to contact them through email. Why can't closing the account be as easy as opening one? Especially since I have not added anything to my profile. Second, I pressed on chat, thinking it would lead me to a support rep. Nope. Their chat feature is to reference past chats with other moonlighters or to start a thread with one. I'm pretty confident that every other chat feature that I've used over the years, across different web sites as well as gig apps, the chat function is reserved for support. I get that there should be a chat feature between moonlighters and clients, however where is the support chat? I'm rather disappointed with the initial experience, I was left thinking I have to jump through unnecessary hoops to close the account, and support, it seems, is not an easy thing to get to. I'll revisit in the future, but for now I have to write to them to close the account.
Company actually values input from users. Might be a startup to watch. Not wildly used in this area. Going to watch over 3 months and update accordingly.
