Overall this is a fantastic app! The thing that's preventing me from giving a 5 🌟 rating is that it won't allow me to save anything into my lists Anymore. I used to be able to save any page i want into any list i wanted. The button is still there but nothing happens when i click it. If y'all could fix that forme, it'd be huge. I'll change my rating once y'all do thank you
I use the app on a Samsung phone as well as an iPhone. In all cases where I stumble to a webpage and see a link on the page that I enjoy, I click it and it opens in the same window. Normally this wouldn't bother me but I do not like having no "back" button to allow me to get back to the original stumble page. If I hit reload, it reloads the page I am currently on which is not the page that i stumbled. It reloads the link that I veered off to.
I've been a user for years. Every time theres an "update" this app gets worse. Get it together stumbleupon. *2017 update* finally decided to give stumbleupon a chance again. It is allot better now but is still lacking many features the original app had. My two main complaints are 1. the removal of the "open in browser" option. And 2. The "we know what you want more than you do" mentality of the developers. Not every user wants to be "locked in" to an app.
Used for about 3 months then suddenly riddled with adverts... Normal stores like Asda etc but then they are full of viruses. Couldn't turn my phone off after using this junk app. You have been warned
StumbleUpon has climbed it's way to the top and deservedly so. I've installed and uninstalled countless times. Now, it's always a treat. Never a dull article. Rich resources mixed with fresh information and enjoyable education is a please to have, so thank you. You have to put a little time in, to get the hang of it but it's unquestionably worth it.
The app experience was not good for Android Nougat. Whenever I open a link of stumble upon through a third party application, say WhatsApp, it doesn't redirect to the installed application directly. Instead, it opens a web page, where I get the option of "Get App" and "Stumble". Either of the option don't redirect me to the correct link. I am not able to open any link of stumble upon's articles in one go in the app. It is a good app only if operated or browsed as a standalone.
Thanks for all of the great reviews and helpful feedback. We've fixed more bugs due to your diligent reports. Happy Stumbling!
